I got the mirrors on my K1200RSport changed under warranty....actually within 3 months of purchase.
If clutch/ Throttle is not smooth, see if the latest software update is done and airbox recall...
There is a issue on these bikes, see if you can find anything on www.k-bikes.com
K1200R, S and Sport had air box recall. I had similar issue with ine, air box exchange and new software update took care of it.
Did my 1st spring ride today. Blue Ridge Pkway was still closed and even in the areas open, there was ice falling on the road and maintenance was there clearing the road.

If you want to take the tour you can do a horse carraige ride OR you can walk aroudn the downtown. Also resturants in downtown are pretty good.

Dealer here charges $82/ hr. and says takes about 1.5 hrs to change the tires.

I like Michellin Power Pilots, got about 6500 miles out of them and they hug the road at every angle.
K1200R Sport 2 yrs old. Battery died and I use battery tender. But I was lucky had about a month left on warranty, dealer replaced it.

On my wat to Redmond, I'm planning to ride through CO. I was planning to take US-40 into Utah, my question is,
- Is US-40 a good ride?

Weekend Rider, average around 500 miles/ weekend. Usually ride twisties.
New K-bikes are can-bus system and if it draws too much power and battery is low, it will shut it down.
No R coming to US, I asked the dealer if he ordered any R's and he said that K1300R & K800R are only european models and are not destined for US.

Its normal, my 1200 sport uses about a .75 qt. between oil changes. It should stop as the engine breaks in. Harder you ride, more consumtion
