Agree all you want on the C3, but the HJC RPHA Max is lighter, just as quiet, and quite good on ventilation. It is less expensive too.
The HJC RPHA Max is ECE certified.
I had the Symex I, 2, and 3, the IS-Mex, and the RPHA Max, the latter is better and as light as a Schuberth. It is great!
I have the Nautilus on my '07 R1200S. This was done after the Magnum ('twas not loud enough). The Nautilus is loud enough.
Toot when needed, sit on when a tractor-trailer truck tries to cut you...
I saw several at Scottsdale BMW but they were all Scottsdale.
Here in the metro Phoenix area one police force uses BMWs, but the Phoenix police moved from them to Kawasaki.
Was easy for me, but had the cannister removed already (that's where horn went) and a fusebox to connect it.
I have one on R1200S. It is great here in Phoenix/Scottsdale and on I-10. Truck drivers hear it.
Mika, is it silly markets, or how BMW advertised its bikes back then? I point to my R1200S as evidence, it sold state-side less than one year. Yet, it sold in AU, South Africa, and Europe through...
No, do you have the bike's owner's manual?
My 2007 R1200S does not have a fuel gauge. It has a 50 miles to empty indicator that counts down.
But it holds 4 something gallons of gas, gets 45-50 mpg in town, and more hwy riding, so it is...
The R90S is nice, but I'll take my R1200S with the BST CF wheels and LiPe Shorai battery.
We've hit 100F already. We'll be 80 for a week, and we'll see what happens...
The heat arrives in June whether late or early, it varies yearly. But even then, leave early and come home late. We...
88F now after 93F today. Next week, the High is gone and we have all 60's to 80's every day.
We are setting high records this week, 89F on the way to 92F. Next week 60's to 80's all week.
My '07 now-lemoned F800S probably had a faulty ZFE but after replacing the Can-Bus, BMW bought the bike back, not taking the ZFE as a chance.
Now I have a much better bike.
I used a magnetic thing about ten years ago, it worked. It would not work now.
The sensors have been updated. My bike will trigger most here.
The new wet head is certainly a better bike than the F800GS. It has much more features making the bike safer (much more power too).
Years ago I could not trip a sensor here with a m/c. Now I can. It may be my cylinder heads are lower than the GS or the RT, but I can trip them here.
Keep us posted Wayne. BTW, snowfall, use the Battery Tender.
I use mine in July, August and September when we have over 105F. I just unhook it for an occasional night ride.
The unit works that well. Wait until June.
Yes, even at temps lower than the 40's. The secret of colder temps is to switch the electric on, and wait 15-30 seconds then start. The load charges the battery from slumber.
I cannot explain...
