    The blanket is the Johnny blanket. It is a piece of insulation placed under the tank to try to help the enormous heat that the K bikes generate. That is what I was doing when this problem happened....

    I have been riding for 17,768 years. Harleys and metric. My first BMW now. I did all of the research.
    I looked at 1200lt's..way to heavy..RT's how can you not like them from the 1100's on up...
