I bought a 97 RT two years ago. The biggest problem I had was the hing area of the luggage. All three pieces had cracks and gobbed up repairs. Have ended up with two new covers for side bags.
What a world those guys live in,huh? If I had those bikes I could go that fast......until the first corner!!!! Man they fly.Absolutely wild.Love to see a race in person.:D

You can set it "backward" that is have the afternoon and evening time read out correctly. I used to change it when it was convenient for me. Now I just forget it and use my GPS time.

97 R1100RT needs a tire on front. The caliper hits the wheel.Can I split the caliper? Push pads and piston back in enough to get wheel out? Must be a trick somehow!
