    Hello everyone.

My '96 R1100RSL is giving me pains. The handlebars position and angle cause my elbows to hurt after a little bit of time and the issue is getting progressively worse. I...

Might well be a very nice repaint of the whole mono bike. Color is from the early eighties. I know an earlier tank would not fit a mono, so that points to an entire repaint. PM me if you decide not...

    Bagster +1

I also have a Bagster. I really like it. Very secure. Also you can use the same bag in more than one bike if you have Bagster tank covers for both. No shuffling stuff from one bag to another....

    Not the same.

I do not think the 85 on integral mounts are the same as the earlier models bike like your 83 RT and I do not think those will fit your bike. Only ones I know of to install integral cases in /7...

I do not think the RT came in that color combo, so it is either a repaint or a standard /7 with a fairing added. Check the VIN and that will tell you which model it is.

Not a true answer to your question

Much better IMHO to install gaiters to protect the forks and the fork seals. Did that on my 88 RS and I am very happy with the change.

    Eduardo.
  14. TT did them before.

I bought one from him a couple of years ago for my '88 mono Rs. So he has done them before. May be not now. Did you check directly with him?

I will follow the advice given and the KISS principle and just replace the hoses and relocate the filter.

Yes that is why I was wondering. My 97 FI guzzi has an outside the tank high pressure pump. Later on, like BMW, MG also went to an inside the tank pump with all kind of similar hose issues.

  21. Fuel Pump relocation R1100rs -Good idea?
