Agree with Jim, Run the VIN at a dealer.
The early bikes also had airbox issues that warped after a long ride. A redesigned box and idle valve fixed some issues.
I am on year 5 or maybe 6 :scratch of not reporting to a formal worksite...time gets away from me and that's OK most of the time. Knowing what day it is is not so big of a deal...unless I forget...

That bar code is permanent and will not affect the bead sealing.
I use the bar code at the valve stem on Michelins just to be consistent. It is the only marking on the tire, but may or not be...

The original quantity was 220ml...then went with 180ml by the trouble shooter engineers at BMW .I wouldn't revert to more than that...
