It has 4 wheels. It was part of a group of rat rods that were traveling together. I kind of dig the idea of rat rods and bikes: modify it, chop it, run it hard, drive it alot, worry more...
Well, now I have a valid reason to buy another bike...not get rid of this one, just buy another!
Thanks, obviously the dual disc on the front of this model has greater stopping power than the rear drum, (but I think that is true in general regardless of the set-up or bike) but I was thinking...
Is it practical to attempt to convert a K75C that has rear drum brakes to disc? Have you done it?
After a fair amount of trial and error, I settled on green scotchbrite soaked with WD-40 and applied with A LOT of elbow grease.
I snapped this pix on the 210 East in LA County near La Canada. I think this is just about as close to being a bike as a cage can get.
That's Los Angeles to Port Angeles...
I never did figure out the new log in procedures, it just kept telling me to log in.....so I checked out, came back and it let me in...go figure.

I just finished 2707 miles in 6 days from LA to Port Angeles/Seattle, WA and back. I had the shock on the mid point settings, I traveled with about 30 lbs of gear and I weigh about 180. Everything...
Took the bike out for a shakedown of about 75miles, LOVE THAT LIP!!!! What a huge difference, even though I am 6'3" or so, the air is directed over my helmet. Guess it helps that that I slouch. ...
Wife's name, plus a cross and a heart on either end of the name - tattooed on my ring finger right where the ring would go. Been married 25 years.
I did an all night thrash on Friday and got the bike operational by Saturday morning. Did a little fine tuning last night and took it out for a run of about 75 miles (including a loop up Placerita...
IN the '70's I put my hand on the top of my helmet to keep my head from floating away. Being 17 an indestructable, who knows what I might have inhaled or ingested........
Thanks Sarge,
I looped a couple of snap ties together and cinched in place. With the little fairing shell back on you can't even see it.
[QUOTE=jdiaz] are you sure it isn't supposed to go with the instrument cluster? This used to be a common fix for instruments that would bounce around too much.QUOTE]
Pretty sure, because the...
I am putting the stock K75C "mini fairing" back together and there is a strip of rubber about 1 1/2 inches wide and about a foot long that basically fell out of the fairing when I originally took it...
