I think 25,000 is still not broken in. I have 115,000 on mine and it is using less oil all the time. It is now less than 1qt, in 6,000 miles.
Is it blank all the time or just when the bike is shut down. If it is working when you are running the bike, but not working when the bike is shut down, it is the accessory plug fusse.
I have started using Pureolator PL 10241. This the pureone and it is rated best in removing crud from your oil. I buy them at Buy Mart for $4.95. I was using Perform and they are very good also.
