    I was told that the higher the RPM the less time the oil is in the pan to cool. My 83 R100RS with VDO temp gauge shows 212 to 235 on the highway.

    You need a angel adaptor to fit the sender in. A dual post is a sender that has 1 output for the guage and one for the light then you can have both.
