    I think the PURPLE one next to the RED 12V might be switched. They are on the same connector. I have a volt meter. I will check it out.

    Radio always on

    You are right, it does not switch off. So should I reverse the RED and ACC wires??? Sounds like it.

    Radio Code Issue Resolved

    Got it !

    All I needed to do it to connect the ACC wire from the radio to the Purple wire on the connector with the red 12V hot, turn on the radio, enter the code and BINGO.

    Hi there,

    I have owned my 93 K1100LT for about 4 weeks now. She is stinkin' up the garage with gas fumes. I did lift the gas tank to get to the X!@$*^@@ air filter (still didn't get to that yet)...
