The left pin that attaches to the Final Drive is a fixed Pin (12) and does require 77 ft/lb. The torgue on the lock nut on the right pin (6) is also 77 ft/lb where the torgue on the pin (10) is 65...
"Apply 2 drops of blue loctite (No. 242) to the threads and screw the pivot pin back in.
Tighten the left hand pivot pin to 105nm (77 ft-lb.)

I know this subject has been discussed to death. Is this the correct orientation of the u-joint yokes?

Had a similar issue on 1991 K75/2 after bike sat for two weeks under cover outside. Plugged in battery tender for two hours and started right up. Outside air temperature was below freezing.
Need a little insight into any specific issues I might need to look for on a 2000 K1200 RS with 24k miles?

Did that, but with bell housing mount bolt tight there was not enough space between gear box mounts to allow for some wiggle room.
I used a large drift punch and tapped it laterally back into place.
BTW: transmission is installed and torgued. :clap
