According to the maintenance schedule I have from the RepROM DVD, the belt for the generator on my 2007 hexhead needs to be replaced every 60,000 km (37,000 mi)
20W50 is the old specs
15W50 is the new specs
I just installed the DDM tuning HID kit and I fitted the ballasts behind the speaker grills and used their bracket to attach them to one of the screws behind the mirrors.
I always set mine at 1 + luggage since I always have the sides and top case and carry riding gear and stuff in them.
I would use the 1 helmet only setting if was was riding solo with no cases at...
I was fed up with changing bulbs, (I changed 4 in the last 24000km, the last ones lasted 6500km :mad)
I upgraded my low beams with DDM Tuning HID kits (35w-6000k)
HIDs are supposed last much...
To change the preload, the bike must be sitting still. If it's moving, you can only change the damping ( Sport/Normal/Comfort)
On my 07 anyway. I don't know if this has been changed on more recent...
These are the instructions I got with my replacement upper support arms: (They worked for me...)
1. Remove your windshield
2. Remove the upper side fairing panels (The ones with the roundels)

Can someone tell me the torque specs of the plastic BMW cylinder head protectors?
I'm putting everything back together after doing some maintenance and cannot find those specs.
Had good experience buying online from them (Enjoyed the M&Ms too)
