    How low can you go?

Don't think you would go wrong with "R" but you might also want to consider one of the F series bikes. I'd curious to see what you choose because I'm kind of on the same quest.

    Bar positions

On the GT bikes both handlebar height and seat height are adjustable, much like the ones on the RT's. The S series might be a bit harder to change though.

I just wanted to give a shout out to my local beemer shop.: Santa Rosa BMW Triumph consistently do good work and they do it with a smile. Check them out should you ever be in the neighborhood.

    the good and the bad

The good:: lots more power, smooth engine throughout the spectrum. The bad: lots more weight up high, hard to do any kind of service, wind noise. Summary: great ride once you get used to the quirks....

    Oops

This is for a 07 K 1200 GT it's so crowded inside the front fairing that just seeing the back covers is difficult not to mention accessing the bulbs.

    Getting to the bulbs

I'm trying to get to one of the little running light bulbs and I can't even see the thing inside the fairing. Wondering if any one knows an easy way to access those and the other bulbs in the front?

When having mine fixed a couple of years ago I was told the factory had a silent recall on the clutch baskets as the metal they were made of was too soft.
