Look for a staintune cat replacement

These pop up on occasion (ebay, etc). The staintune resonator box muffles the exhaust gasses and slows the flow. A straight header to the can is going to be LOUD!

    Staintune, or leave it alone!

Staintune is quiet and gives a reduction in weight. I have a remus, my son has the staintune. The noise is not worth it on all the pipes but staintune. My recomendation (FWIW) is leave it STOCK!...

    Start your centerstand search now!

Just did the swap on my sons' bike. The centerstand "just" will work, but on any uneven surface or possibly a stout wind, the bike will be at risk of falling. The cheapest way to go is modifying...

Get a GS! I have a K12LT and a R1100gs (my son has a 1150). The GS is fun, reliable and has great resale when you want to move up. A great 1100 will run 'bout 6K and a 1150 8K.
