  1. Fan Installation

The job took the tech about four hours or so to complete. The fan unit was a BMW unit designed for the Police model RT. Hope this helps.
  2. Fan Mod Cost

I believe the fan unit cost me about $200 or so. Then there was a cost for the switch, relay and in-line fuse which added about another $30. Labor was about $350. The shop gave me a 15% discount on...
  3. Installed the RT-P Oil Cooler Fan

I have a 2011 RT and get caught in traffic periodically. One day it was especially bad, and the oil temperature crept up quite high (not sure I can correlate with your temperature bars). Seattle is...

    Problem Free 2011 R1200RT

Like you, my 2011RT has been absolutely trouble free. It doesn't burn any oil, hasn't missed a beat, ESA II works perfectly, and my BMW GPS syncs just fine with my Schuberth C3 helmet. I love it!

    Dealer Discounts

I purchased my Comfort Seat from the dealer, and like everything else I purchase there, asked what kind of deal they'd work for me. They always offer me a standard 10% discount. Essentially offsets...

    Another Alternative in Oregon

I purchased my 2011 R1200RT from the BMW dealer in Salem, although I live north of Seattle. (They had the bike I wanted and they were my closest option). Turned out they were really fair on the...

    RideWest is Also Good!

I've found the folks at RideWest very friendly. Their shop is not quite as large as South Sound, but worth a stop if you're in the area.
