I am happy to help. What can I do?
Mine won't go that slow. It must be broken.
I rode all the way down to Florida last week and realized I forgot my bathing suit!
Thanks for the info. I just got my K12 late in the fall and it came with PR2s. I was running Metzelers on my old K75.
I like the PR2s so far and glad to hear you got good mileage out of yours. ...
I really enjoyed reading the article on the ON mag. What tires did you use on the K bike?
I just paid a ticket that I got for doing it in Mass. I see it going on all the time, but my luck ran out.
Yes. They are cheap. p/n 46542300039
$5 each. 2 per case.
If you dont have the tensioner upgrade and cam chain jump guard get it done. It is cheap insurance.
I hope they do and it makes ze Germans choke on their sauerkraut.
I agree. I have one on my K75 and really enjoy it.
That's kind of where this is leading. Trying to decide if I need a top box or not.
But I don't want to take it out. That's the point of it ;)
Hepco Baker mount kits turn up on ebay. Then you can use their "adventure" cases. They make a couple different models.
Can you get a 1 piece Aerostich Roadcrafter into the sidecase on a K12GT?
I've put 25k miles on my K75C since I bought it 2 years ago. I just signed for an '07 K12GT. I don't take delivery until next Saturday. I can't wait! I asked if the tensioner and guard had been...
It is funny how there seem to be a lot of speedo posts on the front page right now.
After I made my post I took a 500 mile ride hoping it would dry out the speedo and it would resume working as...
Only when I get caught in a downpour my speedo/odo quits. I'm also getting condensation inside the speed/tach unit. This has happened twice before and both times it came back to live a couple of...
Mine holds a lot of beer :beer
I can 2nd that. I got caught in a 300 mile storm on a recent trip. Everything was soaked to the bone except my Givi - thankfully because my laptop was in there.
That is what I did. I love my Givi. The bracket lines up perfectly with the factory mount points.
I get 40-45mpg. I am either doing 80-90 on the highway or in city traffic. Neither one is a good situation for great mileage.
Thanks for the advice in this thread. I now have a flapper-less brick. I can't wait to squeeze in that extra gas.
I was on the BRP last Saturday too! I went from Asheville up to the VA border.
I have a lip on my K75C and it really helped. But I think the success factor on these things is very dependent on the particular bike and rider height, etc.
Earplugs help too ;)
