    Changing oil filter

Thanks guys for all the advice. I think I'll just spend the quality time and take off the lowers and drop pipes for ease of access. Don't want to drill hole in the beautiful lowers. :nono

    Hello Pros,

I was wondering if anyone had any tricks of the trade on replacing a oil filter with the lowers on? Not a whole of space in there. Any ideas much appreciated.

    Flooding Carb

Check the needle valve, even it has the smallest amount of wear its time to go. Check it under a magnifying glass.

    Snorkel

I have filed down the numbs on the snorkels and then slide the sleeves down. A lot less hassle for the reassembly.

    Leaky Carburetor

Just wondering if anyone had some advice on what the check list is on fixing a leaky carburetor? I have bent the "tang" on the float but to no success. Any words of wisdom is much appreciated.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I ended up taking Kurt's simpla fi idea and just switched the plug wires - coils. Verdict, dead coil on right side.

    Kurt,

Just tested for resistance got nada on the voltmeter. Does that indicate bad coils or plug wires or both?

    Thank you
