    Look at the starter button

    The worn starter button will draw power away from the lights. Pull up the button a little after starting and see if that corrects the problem.

    Clunk in Forks

    Jack up the front of the bike. Check for play in the triple tree main neck bearing. If the steering races are bad you will get a loud clunk when the tire meets with resistance.
