Ahhh, raven...good one! Gaps, Gores and Notches... (You can't fool us, though!) Gap - A deep, sloping ravine or cleft through a mountain ridge (places like Lincoln Gap, Brandon Gap, Middlebury Gap...) Gore - an unorganized town or district within the state (places like Buel's Gore...) Notch - a narrow pass through the mountain with 1,000 foot cliffs on either side (places like Smugglers Notch - where I skied several times in my youth) You tell us there, Speed, can a BMW rider do a "morning ride" from Gore Mountain to Brandon Gap to Smugglers Notch and on to Buel's Gore before lunch while attending the 2006 National in Burlington??? Ask, and ye shall receive - from the State of Vermont. See ya' there, raven - we're gettin' ready...we're headin' your way...lock up your daughters and hide the maple syrup. All roads lead east to Burlington (Essex Junction) - 20/23 July 2006. :wave ` ` :type ` ` :wave ` ` :rocker ` ` :wave |
If a guy got to five corners in four or five days on a 75/5 from the market there at Granville Island, yup, wicked easy
Roger that, raven! ` ` ` :thumb |
Maybe not, since the roads will be clogged with several thousand other Beemerphiles trying to do the same! :p
