Here is a video on Youtube from the Memorial procession on Thursday for Santa Cruz California Detectives Baker and Butler. The first Officers ever killed in the line of duty in their 150 year old history of the Department. This video was taken from the bike of one of our local CHP officers while on the roughly 34 mile trip from Santa Cruz to the HP Pavillion in San Jose. I believe over 200 vehicles were in the procession from Law Enforcement agencies around the State and other parts of the US. The outpouring of support from the local community has been unbelivable.
Thank you to all that work in Public Service.
The kind of tribute every LEO deserves, but never covets.
Thanks for posting the link.
I have typed three replays on this thread and deleted each one, I can't find the words. My wife and I have been in Santa Cruz for over 40 years, it just breaks my heart. RIP

I know what you mean. Nothing, nothing, can fix the heart break of this incident and the two families directly affected. I hesitated posting the video. Since it was posted as a tribute and taken by a fellow Police Officer, I felt obligated to share. You can find several triputes on YouTube that are very very good. All of the motorcycles in the percession made me think of posting here. If anyone is interested, here are a couple that I found that hit home for me.
