HELP HELP Uni-go Problem, unexpected disaster , need help
Hi, everyone, I just traded the Bunkhouse popup for a Uni-go one wheel, I got it from a person in Indian . In Indiana it does not need to have a certificate of origin or a title for that state (IN). so he had no problem.
Now I have it in Pennsylvania, they require a cretificate of origin or an title. Basicly, I am screwed, the previous owner offered to take it back, but NO, I think this is a great thing for my R1200RT and I want to Keep it..SO
1. Does any one have a certificate of title, or a certificate of Origin for a trailer or a Unigo they wish to Sell me. I dont think I need to get a real one, but I do need to put in the numbers (VIN) in a place
2. I called and emailed the Unigo guy, he said they will not help me
3. Probably could be stolen, so let me know if any body is missing one , (they need to give me the vin number or sell me a title) the color is a mettalic champagne type color, I will gladley return it and get my money from the other seller.
4. Any other Ideas would be helpful.
Like I said, it was from Indiana, the man cannot find who or where it came from.. and Indiana made him trade the plate in from the Unigo to the Bunk House so now he has nothing to indicate that itt came from Indiana.

UNI-go and no title friday 3 pm est
Many thanks, I will be trying all attempts, Always easier in the end to do it right, because of the next buyer.
from Home made idea, to just slapping the plate on from the Bunk house on it, I have been riding and trailering for 45 years, no one has ever asked about a trailer registration, I have been stopped many times, only for excessive zeal.. I think I have been awarded certificates in about 10 states for "Excessive zeal"
reply on Salvage for Unigo...Very interesting reply great..salvage
Yes indeed, I head for the DMV info today. Every one has been most helpful.
In a related issue...should the tongue universal joint be stiff and not allow free movement of the tongue of trailer.... the first ones from New Zealand had a Brass insert type joint...the replacement was about 100$ plus shipping from NZ....
I found the NAPA part # is 210-0153 (Old NAPA # 369), to be a perfect match. About $12.00. Needle bearing type, this should outlast the trailer,
There are several threads on the BMWLT.com site... just google Unigo trailer Bmwlt ...several helpful threads...about wheel bearing and other issues.
Hope this helps!
Uni-go Maine regestration
Unbelievable, you don't even have to be a resident. It just goes to show you how dumb all of this registration stuff goes.
OK, I am working this all out, I am sure I will be ready for the Spring.
To all of you, thanks for the help.
