Greetings
The wife and I are planning on riding out to Estes Park this summer. We spent the summer of 1981 working in Estes Park and lived in Raymond:). No date set yet. Planning on camping for a week in the area. Any recommendations for camping? We are on a RT so nothing too much off the beaten path.

RMNP has some good campgrounds but maybe crowded. No showers,we went into Estes Park ,they have some there.
+1 on the Estes Park KOA. Nice campground with Kabins, along with some nice tent sites. One fault is the next door neighbor is a horse stable, and sometimes the wind carries stuff the wrong way. Not a big problem. Some very good showers also. Just a very short ride into town and all that it offers.
