Several keys on a ring, and a small folding knife/file tool. My bike with padlocked Happy Trails bags and a Jesse top case and a small cable lock does not use just a single key. So it has a small wad of keys. So far no fish have been caught and no birds have been downed by this approach. Oh, and the Sun still comes up in the morning and sets at night.

Ah, I wondered what this was.

And I have nothing profound to offer, or anything, for that matter. :D
Here's mine: Belkin iPod remote on an aircraft mechanic's keyring, my ignition and sidecase keys.
Zipper pulls. They dont scratch paint or rattle around in the wind, dont fall off a hook when hung up, and they're easy to pick out in your pocket. A pack of 5 costs about a buck and a half in the sporting goods section of lesser quality box stores.

I'd still like to hear more about this one!

Well first you need a puppy. And a hammer. And a saw. :bottle
(For those with no sense of humor: The above was intended purely for its satirical value. I do not condone the killing of puppies and the use of their femurs for motorcycle key fobs. I love puppies)
I attached my key ring to a cheap $5 rubber framed dog tag that has my name,
address and cell phone number on it in case I lose my keys at a rally or somewhere else when I'm on the road. I lost my keys that way once and fortunately someone turned them into the hotel office and I got them back, but had a pretty anxious night after discovering they were missing.
Here's where I get my keyrings and other cool swag: http://countycomm.com/ring.html

Set. I have all three of those things. But I have to act quickly, he won't be a puppy much longer.
