Modoc Plateau
Claoked currently in a chilling northern California blanket of tule fog, I am reflecting back on a mid-summer trip across the Modoc Plateau on the trusty GSA.:brow

Nice:)
I too agree that so much of California is still wild lands and very remote. I rode many of the same spots through the past years, most recent on my GSA 2 years ago coming home from Redmond Rally. Thanks for your sharing good stuff:). The far NE and far Eastern reaches of California are indeed for the pioneers in us all. Cross that CA., Nevada line up there and you'll even get lost for days:). Fandango Pass
Thanks, Polar Bear. I really love that high remote country and need to get back more than annually.
Here's a post from the previous leg of that trip: http://thechurchoftheopenroad.blogspot.com/2011/07/uncle-petes-trail-fandango-pass-road.html
