I-64 Bridge Closed - Louisville, KY
Word of caution regarding routing through Louisville, KY.
The I-64 bridge across the Ohio river has been closed with no expected opening date. An alternate route over the I-65 bridge and using I-265 back to I64 in Indiana is available.
However congestion is very heavy during traffic times. Alternative routing may be prudent. YMMV
UPDATE: 10/3/11 Bridge to be closed for an estimated 6 months for repairs
Was there yesterday "YIKES!"
Louisville was having a Ball game so I took the long way around on the waterson to avoid the spaghetti junction. Then I found the waterson had only 2 lanes open to get to the 65 exit. "Sheesh" All to get my bike back.
Plan to avoid Louisville like the plague from now on.
