SW Missouri Nov 26 Short Ride

Took a short ride this morning. The day broke with sunshine and a temp in the upper 40's. I couldn't resist a short ride before tackling the many chores that stack up during the week. I was elated not to be reporting into the office. Riding south of Joplin on the original US 71 road alignment following Shoal Creek to Neosho, a bobcat shot across the rode in front of me. I stopped to see if I could watch it but it had disappeared into the rock bluff. Noticing a good photo opportunity, I took a couple of shots. On the way back I stopped at a park and took some more shots along the banks of Shoal Creek in Joplin near Low Water Bridge. Very enjoyable way to start the day.
