8900 and some was announced at the Awards Ceremony.
8,972 was announced with between 6 and 7 thousand bikes.
VT still has the record at 9200+ ?????
VERMONT = 9286
TN was close, but no cigar!
That's a no brainer, e.g., the economy is now in the tank and VT is next to a large chunk of the USA's population. That's one reason the location this year WAS so nice-less people around to clog things up!
I say bring the rally back to Vermont and it would exceed 10,000!
Great venue and great riding
There could've been a few more, but some people who came too late on Saturday were turned away...That's unfortunate.
I was at the rally for 2 days before I bothered to 'register' due to the lengthy process and lines.
I imagine I was not alone and many never bothered at all.
I arrived Thursday and was pre-registered.
I literally breezed through registration, I think it took 5 minutes.
The walk-in registration line looked like it was moving briskly but there was a line.

Vermont was a great rally destination. I loved it there. Great roads, great scenery, neat covered bridges and historic buildings. I look for another excuse to ride there.

I hope you mean they preregistered (paid up front) and simply never visited registration to
get a wristband and programme.
I'd hate to think anyone simply didn't pay (theft of services.)

All the more reason to go, don't have to ask the boss for time off of work!
I thought one of the most significant statistics was that only about 5 percent of the bikes came on trailers.
Sorta the reverse of H-Ds at Bike Week.

You were able to noticed that there were 314 less people clogging things up? Wow
