She may be the queen skank of all skanks, but I like her music. :nod
Up next... (do you see a pattern? :D)[/QUOTE]Ha. Yes, I like P.J.
For me though, it's time to get funky with the Queen of Soul, straight from Augusta, GA.
Her band kicks major a$$. A real live album treat.

RUSH....."Best of" CD that my son got me for my B-day. Gotta love a drummer who rides a B-mer!

Esperanza Spalding and Vampire Weekend. Other than this, it's all old stuff.

Tony Rice is a Rounder Records bluegrass artist. I remember hearing the cut "Manzanita" back in the 80s.
This guy is a SERIOUS guitarist. :thumb

Man, your living room looks like my shop! I love it. I'm an hour from the ovation factory and usually visit once a year. Fender bought them last January and they have moved Guild and Tacoma from the west coast into the old mill here in CT where they build the Ovations. Can't wait till the next visit...

Most are fairly modern guitars the lighter ovation I bought new in 1970 a nice Gold tone Banjo and the little mandolin is a 1914 Gibson A model nice old piece. Also Winchester 73 on mantel in case things get out of hand.

The other cd I was jammin to was their new one - Snakes and Arrows. For some reason, I could only post one jpeg [in my earlier post]. But I note others have had 2-5. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
