Ok...... 2005 R1200ST... 12,000 miles... Just got home tonight and smelled gas. Actually, was smelling it on the way home when I would stop at lights, etc. It appears fuel is leaking up in the tank area on the "kickstand" side of bike. There is some dribble on ground, but not real big at this point. Fuel filter has not been changed at this point. Half tank of fuel. Any idea what the problem is? Thank you!:banghead

check your fuel lines into the throttle body at the clamps, if not there follow the lines back to the tank. OH you'll have to remove some plastic though.

Don't neglect a fuel leak. It can be deadly.

Unless it's the line to the left TB not much on left side. Still could be the quick connects on the right and it's flowing to the sidestand when leaning. If thats the case BMW finally upgraded part of the connector to metal, or you could buy the all metal aftermarket ones.
Have had ones on '07 GS break while riding, fuel line was installed in a bind.
