I am considering adding a Touratech Desierto 3 fairing to my new R1200 GS. Does anyone currently have one? Pro and con comments would be greatfully appreciated, short of any admonisments on the cost. This fairing looks great but I need to know if it is functional. I do a lot of high speed highway touring and an average amount of off road scenarios.

Great curb appeal for around $1K. :type

Thanks JK for your feedback. Apparently this is an uncommon set up. Not many responses; all the more reason to follow-up with this look.

I think that it makes the bike look like it's wearing an open-faced klansman-hood.
