finally got a torque wrench,can't find the little mostly useless manual. anyone know the correct torque for the rear wheel? i always guess and it has worked so far,but now that i have this shiney new torque wrench.....

Rear wheel lug bolts- 60Nm (44.5 lbs/ft)

From the BMW manual:

Check that the wheel centering spigot and contact surfaces of the wheel hub are free of grease.

Avoidance:
Avoid scratching the components; use masking tape if necessary.

Insert the rear wheel into the centering hole.

Nature:
Injury to persons

Description:
The wheel studs for the cross-spoked wheel and the cast aluminium wheel have different length codes. Do not use the wrong wheel studs and never mix wheel studs with different length codes. Rear wheel not correctly secured.

Consequence:
Risk of dropping the motorcycle

Avoidance:
Only use wheel studs with the same, approved length code. Do not oil or grease wheel studs!

Hand-tighten wheel studs (1) and then tighten in diagonally opposite sequence.



Tightening torques
Rear wheel to wheel carrier, M10 x 1.25, in diagonally opposite sequence
60 Nm
