This is my G450x in the Wilson Creek area in Western North Carolina. This was the first outing for the bike and needless to say, it was a blast.
The ground still looks pretty dead, but the sky was turning blue, and the weather was in the low 40's. Time for a ride!

The bike looks great, good luck! I hope to have one in the next few weeks. I'm actually curious about the trailer? Were did you get it / cost? How does it handle with just the front strap? Did you set it up for the bike yourself?

Trailer is build by my self, its a 1/8 2x3 square tubbing all way around(its 5'X8'4"),i know its overkill but works great and don't twist going down the road.I'm using dexter 2000# axle, leaf spring suspension and 12" wheels (i can use up to 15" wheels but set up as is works great with minimal drag keeping fuel consumption to minimal).I use canyon dancer strap with only two ratcheting straps, compressing the forks down and forward will keep the bike inside the tire chock and trust me it will not jump over it.If on longer trip I install third strap thru the rear wheel.
Cost of build is less then $650 not including my labor. To cheap to pay my self.lol.
I own roadside service company and provide motorcycle towing so this trailer is used daily.
RT Johnny. Yes I know, I can't spell.

Thanks.
That's the small BMW tail bag. It's a "soft" bag, but it has a rigid structure so it always sits up. It's not very expandable, but it's working well for me so far.
I just have to bend my knee and get my foot way up when I'm getting on and off the bike. You can't see it in the picture, but the '76 has a Wixom hard trunk on it. It sits a lot further back, so it's not as much of an issue with leg clearance.

My 1967 Velocette 500cc thumper. Best friend and original owner was doing a frame-up rebuild when he died 5 years ago. He was the first and third owner. I was the second, and no matter how much his widow pleaded with me, I did not become the fourth. Thankfully, she found someone who knew what it was and had been through rebuilding old British singles before, so he had no chance against her.
