Who has aftermarket exhaust on their RT? What kind and how do you like it? As to sound, performance and ease of installation Thanks :wave

When I had my 9911RT I installed a staintune exhaust on it... sound and performance was okay, but I did not think it warranted the price... I did like the D&D exhaust on my 93 R100R and I liked it, sound, price, performance. Currently have a 2into1 Supertrapp and love it... I don't think they make a set for the Oilheads...
Good luck!

I put an aftermarket Remus muffler on an R1150RT a few years back.
After riding it a while, I decided it was too loud. Annoying on long rides.
I reinstalled the stock exhaust and sold the aftermarket system.
I have stayed with BMW's stock exhausts ever since. Nice and quiet, and don't reduce the power.

I have heard the quieter Staintune system and it is ok noise wise...just a little more than stock.

Just went on ebay. There is a Remus exhaust listed with only 100 miles on it. It looks brand new. Sold the bike.... check it out, it might have your name all over it?? :type
