Have any of you fellow oilheads used Hella lights? What did you think?
Is it a good product.
I am looking at the FF75

Yes, they're fine. I have the FF50s on my R1200GS, and had a pair of big round ones on a Pathfinder years ago. I'd get some for my current 4 wheeler, if I could figure out where to put them.

Many years ago I had a set of Hella lights on my bike. I really liked them. They never gave me any problems.... :dance

I have my FF100s on all the time - aimed low enough to avoid night time problems. They are for conspicuity during the day and the first 40 or so yards in front of me a night. I use a Touratech HID Xenon hi-beam replacement for when I am out in the boonies [not often enough :cry ].

I have had the hellas running for 60+k miles without a problem - no breaks, burnouts or fuse problems.

I have the FF50s on my 12GS, and I like them because they use the H7 bulbs, same as the headlights, so I only need to carry one spare. Plus thay are very bright, and inexpensive.

Hi Jim:

My research has led me to FF50's also. For the 12GS you just can't beat the combination of price, H7 convenience, and the oval shape blending with styling of the stock headlights. Wondering: what mounts did you use?

Bestrest mounts. They are fairly tidy, and very versitile.

You mean around the big nut? No, just a reused mounts with scratches.
