Just a quick announcement: the Vintage BMW Motorcycle Owners (VBMWMO) forum is alive and running! You can go directly to it at http://www.vintagebmw.org/forums (of course, there's also a link from the main web site, too: http://www.vintagebmw.org).
The forum has discussion areas covering the three eras the club recognizes (Classic -- 25 years ago to 1970; Vintage -- 1969-1948; and Antique -- 1945-1923), Rides and Rallies, Tools and Techniques, and The Stew Pot.
If you're a member of VBMWMO, an account has already been created for you. To access it, follow the link near the top of the main forum page to the article on New User Hints. Members get access to the Classified Ads (buy and sell to other members) and a Clubhouse area.
Unfortunately, discussion threads from the previous incarnation of the forum were lost when it was hacked. So we have to start afresh. Please bookmark the site!
