Lyle is a great guy, one of my first big rallies, he was the first one to come up and say hello. I had never met him before.

One of the greatest of Rally Rats, he always has a smile, a good word and a helping hand. I don't think he has ever met a stranger, and I am looking forward to seeing him again this rally season.

I just remembered my first 708 mile day - coming home from the Paonia Rally. Paul and I were about 125 miles from home, the sun was setting, and we needed gas. And food. And energy. As I was walking away from my bike I came face to face with Lyle - and his big grin and a grand hug.

He said, "As long as the wheels keep turning we're having fun!"

Made me sMile all the way home.
