My "97" R1100RT has 33K miles. The right front outside brake pad is worn twice as much as the other pads. A sticky caliper? The rear pads are worn out. I'm replacing front & rear pads. I guess I need to rebuild the front calipers? Advice on replacement pads & caliper rebuilding kits is needed! Thanks for your help!

You might want to take a really close look at the caliper alignment. The mounts might actually be machined wrong.

Yes, it's possible the piston is sticking in the caliper, but you can check that with the bike on the centerstand. If the wheel spins freely with the brake released, stops normally with the brake applied, then immediately spins free again with the brake lever released, the piston is retracting normally. If the disc drags with the lever released, there's a problem--could be just an air bubble in the R caliper.

I haven't had to replace the brake pads on my oilhead yet, but I have had good performance with EBC pads on my other machines.
