Brake Light Housing

Can someone tell me where exactly is the brake light housing located on a 2003 R1150RT (under the seat or in the tail assembly)? I would like to install a Kisan brake light modulator, which requires a one-wire split into the brake light unit.

It is under the rear seat. Remove the rear seat and reach under rear cowling to get to the 2 black knobs that hold the tail light on. Unscrew this two knobs and the taillight assembly will come of the back of the bike.
