The feedback I am getting from you all is that K75C bars will give a more upright and relaxed seating position for my RS, taking some stress off the shoulders and elbows on long trips. What technical problems/modifications am I likely to face? Can I do it myself, having average+ mechanical skills?
Thanks,
Chas.

IIRC, when I put C bars on my 89KRS, The only thing I had to do was loosen the banjo fitting on the master cylinder just enough to change the angle of the hose. Slip the throttle/brake assembly onto the C bar before you bolt it down and you wont have to disconnect any cables or hoses. I think I had to cut the zip ties holding the wire harness on each side to get a bit room to compensate for the additional bar width. I didn't have heated grips, can't help with that aspect, but I don't think they pose any problem, other than exercising caution with the wires inside the bars. You may have to remove the tank to get to the plugin for them.
