I have a 98 K1200RS and its time for me to do its first gearbox oil change. It looks like there is a large torx plug in the bottom of the gearbox. The owners manual doesn't say anything about this. Is this what I need to remove? What size of torx socket do I need to get that plug out?
Thanks!

I believe it is a 14mm. You can get a three hex set which includes this size at Autozone or similar places for around $15 and throw the other two away.
There is no gasket on this plug. Works fine. Just clean everthing and put it back after draining the trans.
