View Full Version : General Maintenance FAQ
It might be worthwile to assemble a lot of this treasure trove of information into a system-by-system FAQ (Take for example, the great explanation posted on AGM vs Gel batteries) for the community. For example, have a FAQ on Electircal, Suspension, Tires, Planned Maintenance, etc.... with some of the great posts and pictures linked therein.
Just a thought,

What a GREAT idea! It is wonderful that you volunteered to assemble it. I'm sure we all look forward to the upcoming announcement of the release of the first revision (of many) of your FAQ. Thank you.
I wish I could... but fact is, I work frequent 64 hour weeks on my day job and another 20-30 on my volunteer job, of which I just got a whole slough of new responsibilties... the only way I'd have enough time to tackle the project in under a year would be to up the hours in a day to about 38... and add at least 2 more days to the week.
Besides, it would make a lot more sense for someone with say... mechanical skills... to sanity check stuff before posting... instead of me :)
That being said, if I had the spare cycles, I'd most definitely pitch in on a project like that... to at least handle the basic structure and put submissions up.
More good ideas than time and hands to do it...
