My son has been bugging me to jump out to LA to visit and see some of the racing there this winter. I may do that to escape winter for a weekend.
However, I'm always looking for an excuse to ride someplace. An overnight trip next riding season, to Brainerd Int'l Raceway (MN) or Road America (WI), to watch racing would fit the bill nicely.
This prompted me to look to see if the local track had any racing listed for 2006. I checked the Brainerd Int'l Raceway (www.birraceway.com) and and AMA.org but found no reference to anything but drag racing (BIR). Bummer. "In the old days" they had club racing at Brainerd, and Perhaps pro racing, but it seems no more.
Does anyone know if there is club or pro racing at either of these tracks, and where one might get a schedule?
