OK....so my New Year's Resolution formed in my mind today as I was out cruising on the K75 in this nice warm last day of 2005. You see, the bike has really gotten kind of dirty. It's mainly because each day there's the question of--"Do I give it a bath, or do I ride?" Given the layers of dust & dirt present on this jewel, you can easily see which way I've been answering the question. Sooo.....the obvious New Year's Resolution is to give it a good bath at least once in 2006......even if I miss some good riding time doing it. As I think it over, I'm sure I can get it done by the end of May....maybe, or surely by August 'cause of the heat.....yeah, that's it---by end of August for sure!

How 'bout yours??

I started a similiar thread over on another forum. So here is my response to that one....

Hello one and all-

Every year I set a goal for the year of something I want to accomplish, not necssarily a habit change but just something that I want to do.

My goal for 2005 was to lose 25 pounds, run the Sunburst 5K, and run the 8K fun run at the BMW MOA Rally.. I was able to get two out of the three. I did not lose the weight I wanted to. I lost 15 then put 10 back on. blink.gif

So for 2006 I have slightly more aggressive goals, figured I would share them and you all can keep me honest about them.

1) Run the Sunburst Half Marathon
2) Complete the Marine Corps Marathon. (300 days into 2006)
3) Accomplish and sustain a 30 pound loss.

So do you guys and girls have any?
