Has anyone replaced the carb on an R26 with something newer that has a choke? I'm looking to make the bike a little more cold start friendly. I'll keep the old carb on the shelf for authenticity...but I'd like to update it since I don't have any plans of trying to enter shows...just taking the bike out for fun rides.
I've been messing around with cold start combinations and it's still a pain without some carb cleaner sprayed into the intake. Once the engine is warm it will start with only 1 or 2 kicks.
