Marriott Lawsuit - Just when it couldn't get any weirder

My work uses the Marriott as our preferred hotel, so I got an e-mail from my travel coordinator saying "Maybe this is whe the hotel at the Rally seemed underwhelming...."
Marriott settles suit agreed to renegotiate its contract to manage a Charleston, W.Va., hotel (http://biz.yahoo.com/djus/030725/2046000936_1.html)

OKay, in my best worst legaleze...

The plantiff (Charleston, WV Hotel) claims that the defendant (Marriott, Inc. LLC) did not act in a fiduciary manner under their contract. The defendant did not provide suffecient funding to allow for the proper upkeep of the physical plant and services.

In plainer english:

The hotel was suing Marriott so they were not providing their best service is the insinuation.:confused:
