Cheer up, Belg, my good man!
I'm hoping for a round of rain up north here to wash away the
road salt left over from Thanksgiving day SNOW. Send some my way!

me too, i'm cursing the rain but also realizing that it'll scrub the roads for some weekend riding, i hope...................
You're welcome to all of it.
Well, so much for my riding suit being "waterproof" not that I imagined it would be if I was gettting air blowby from the belly..
So, who makes good raingear?
I'd imagine I only need a top... my feet and legs would have been plenty dry had it not been for the 40 degree stream of water burning down the front of my trowsers.... but some inexpensive legs might be wise too.
Last time, i just used 5$ Kmart specials... but it wasn't horribly effective. My old oilskin duster worked great back in the day...

I got a set of Frogg Toggs. I haven't had the opportunity to ride in them yet, but I did work a tree lot last year in them during a monsoon. Nothing got through them. They look like they are made of that thin packing material, but they have held up really well so far.

My first use, first time I put my foot down and they melted on my exhaust pipe. I've never had that problem on a BMW before. I use them at work still and they are very dry and comfortable. I just don't think they are good for naked bikes.
