We all talk about food often enough. Seems to be quite a few culinary talents among us...

We should compile a cookbook. The BMW MOA Cookbook

All member submissions

Motorcycle cooking
camp cooking
home cooking
cooking for the tank bag (travel snacks)

yada, yada, yada.

We could sell it in the country store. By god we could sell it world wide Only for a small profit for members. Couple of bucks over production costs. Just an idea...

Whaddya think?

If you look at the rear "axle" of an R1200GS, you can see that a burrito would easily fit in there. SOMEBODY needs to come up with a pair of snap-on caps for the open ends of the axle. Once the caps are available, a whole host of recipies will naturally fall out of the utility of the accessory.

1) Insert frozen burrito into axle and replace BurritoWarmer(tm) caps.
2) Ride X00 miles (at ambient temperature above xx degrees Fahrenheit).
3) Remove and serve.

Et cetera...

Maybe a can o' Dinty Moore poured into a ziplock will work in there, too. The possibilities are practially endless!

The upside of the dreaded (and all too common) rear-end failure is that your lunch will be good and hot while you wait for the wrecker with your cell phone in your hand.

I like it! It's sort of the motorcycle equivalent of Freeway Chicken.

Now if you gut the catalytic converter, put piping inside to pass the exhaust through and a trap door to the empty cavity you would have an oven. I wonder how many miles @ 3000rpm in any gear, it would take to roast a cornish game hen :eat

I need to bring a green bean casserole for 20 people to the family Thanksgiving dinner. Does anyone have a recipe they are willing to share?

I use the one on the side of the french fried onion can. adjust accordingly for servings needed.

The durkee french fried onion casserole is a staple at our Thanksgiving dinner. Double the recipe serves about that many people. We had 26 at a modified thanksgiving on Veteran's Weekend. Plenty to go around when the recipe was doubled. No leftovers though. I have tripled it before but I cut the milk down by about a 1/2 cup cause it gets pretty wet.

Definitely one of my favorites.
