I read the specs of the new R1200S in this months ON. I'm excited about it but not because I want one. I would rather have an upright naked bike or a sport-TOURER. I'm excited because maybe the R1200S will pave the way for a new R1200R. I am also excited because BMW has finally admitted that not everyone wants linked/power brakes. The new R1200S will be available with conventional ABS brakes and maybe the option on other BMWs will follow. Until then the F800ST and it's more conventional design appeals to me more than the rest of the BMW line (except the bags). Now if I could only get one for under $10,000.
