Have just returned from a 1600+ mile business trip to Germany.......
.......could have flown, but decided to take the bike.......
.....unfortunately, between appointments, I had to endure the autumnal delights of the Rhine & Mosel valleys.........plus lots in between........

Pleasure! Loved your report. I especially like the green of your GS; shame they don't offer that here. Great pictures--thanks for having us along.

Great shot!
So does white or red wine go better with your green bike?
Thanks for posting.

Hmmm I have a rental vehicle cage...... I can easily see trouble brewing, but alas I fly back home at 5PM tomorrow.

I'm back at the show at 7:30 and then we break down the booth, grab a cab and try to get a 3:50 flight home. I'll be back in SF, CA at 6:30.

I've been gone a week, so it'll be fun to get back home. At least part of it was fun.

Very nice and very familiar pics, Dutch. I can't wait to get back!
For anyone else going, Wunderlich's relatively new store is still laid out like the old one, at least the last time I was there in 2004. They still don't have their products on display as most shops do, unless they changed that. You go to a counter and place your order.
Whereas Touratech's store has their items on the floor on shelves. Its nice to just browse.
Did you get to the Nürburgring...just a short drive from where those pics were taken?

Hi Alex
The showroom element of the store has several bikes loaded with Wunderlich goodies and seveal product displays as well as the service counter, coffee area and catalogues to perouse.......
I never visited the old premises but am told it's a great improvement......
Yes, I got to Nurburgring, several times last week as I was staying nearby....not to do a lap though, as it was closed.
Cheers

Bradford and Kbasa, never fear, I have your backs covered.
My car broke down 2 weeks ago, and I couldn't get it towed from my friends place until monday. I had to go on the road for work, and they were paying milage, so I took the bike. I've done nothing but ride a bike everywhere for the last 2 weeks. (I'm so glad I have all weather gear too.)
Been keeping track too. Just shy of 4500 miles in that time frame. I love it when work sends me out and pays me milage. :)
I wish it were in Europe, though.. Nice ride pics!

Friedel. It's probably the newest bike he's ever ridden. It was his first experience with heated grips too. :ha
I think he liked them.
