Anyone have any advice.. If you've been looking at the weather, we here in the Northeast have had somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 to 20 inches of rain in the last 10 days.. During that time my GS was in the driveway under a cover. Yesterday I took it out for a couple hundred mile spin and noticed for the first time that condensation had gotten under the plastic on the RID and speedometer. It took a couple hrs for the sun to evaporate the water.
Any ideas or is this the way it is.

I have the same problem on my '02 R1150R speedo. Others have told me that I may need a new gasket in the speedo housing that will provide a better seal around the glass area. For whatever reason, this seems to be a common problem.

The local GS's here in the pacific northwet all do it. The instruments aren't completely sealed away so on very humid days you'll get some morning dew inside the instruments.
